Asset-based, Appreciative Approaches to Change (MindEd)

This session is aimed at more experienced/specialist users and reviews values-based approaches to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) improvement and stresses the central role of purpose as defined by service users. It is suggested that relationships are the basis for all service improvements and are therefore emphasised in strength-based approaches. Appreciative Inquiry is defined and applications in CAMHS explored.
